Change

With the ability to change,

You need the power to adapt.

With the ability to adapt,

You need to power to accept.

With the ability to accept,

You need the power to change.

The perspective of people

Is a very prejudice thing.

Seeing from their point of view

And a view of your own.

To change one’s view

Is to change one’s belief.

Judging a book by its cover

Or a person from their looks,

Not without being in their shoes

You don’t know what they go through.

Imagine yourself as them for a moment

And take a deep breath.

If you were in their shoes

What would you do?

Imagine how others treat you

For what they believe of you.

If I could change one thing

It would be how people view each other.
