The change
The trees are down.
The fumes from the exhaust pipes are filling the lungs of our youth.
Nicotine is craved by the ones who will be the leaders of this country.
The urge for knowledge is taken away from schools.
Divorce rates are as high as a graduating class.
Then again students are as high as there grades.
And our future is looking bright?
We went from the Stone Age to a search bar to look up how to survive.
No need to unfold the large map under your seat just pull out the small computer in your pocket.
The corporate world is replacing humans with robots,
And maybe soon we will be one of those machines as well.
Tablets and smart phones will now be the the nurture of human interaction.
Damn it! Looks like we will have to go to war again to lower these gas prices.
It's 2014 and people would still rather see man holding guns than holding hands.
The civil rights movement hasn't ended yet.
Is the future still looking bright?
Fasten your seat belt, from here on it just gets bumpier.
Tax money is drug money.
What was once a beautiful neighborhoods is now a ghost town.
People can now buy their happiness yet still be sad.
Special homes with complete strangers can take care of the unwanted elderly.
The "future" is filled with smog instead of the shine of the sun.
Beware of the steps that are moving forward because they will just pull you back.
Say good bye to that last leaf standing, that tree is coming down as well.
