Change

Ever thought about how we become different people?

Well what if it wasn't just one big change, or rather that we're modified every single day.

In minute, incomprehensible ways. And that either to your joy or your dismay

you cannot stop the gradual decay of your former life, as they say.

But why would you ever want to stop that process,

because what's the precedent of a thing called progress?

Change, my friend, and it's waiting in the tall grass.

Slowly creeping towards your life like the monstrous stress,

That'll occur.

That'll build up and overflow and cure.

Until you just snap and you don't want to bring it back so you sit down and think of what your life lacks,

Think about what you could do to compenstate:

gotta let go of guilt, gotta shut down the hate,

gonna modify yourself gonna set the stage

gonna take care of her, gonna turn the page

whatever it is, you gotta gotta gotta change.
