Skies lie down in patches of blue

while the clouds keep us wishing too

A piebald façade is the perfect disguise

to cover up all these denim faded lies

Sunshine fades into a subtle dose of gray

still rattling change questions cobalt to stay

Tears of betrayal pouring into a content mind

my belligerent hope is lost every single time

Darkness comes to trample over this heart

ripping my daydreams of a lost sea apart
