Change
Where do I run, i’ve been everywhere?
Who can I trust for I’ve sinned?
What will change when I leave? The blossoms of the trees, maybe the the song of a bird.
Will chance occur or sorrow and love.
I’ve been running my whole life, with no destination.
All I had was him, but now he’s gone too.
Leaves crinkle under the weight of my feet, seasons are changing birds are soaring.
What chance of luck could I gain from the disloyalty and shame.
Ill run till tomorrow, then i’ll lay and just slowly slip away.
I pray he’ll forgive me, I will see you some day in the heavens.
Wind blows muck and filth into my face, snowfall will be on its arrival, birds migrated.
Life's not about chance or luck it's about the here and now, the memories that were shared.
