Change

Politics is a game, a wicked game that only its devils know how to play It's a puzzle, a maze with no exit way

I don't claim to know it all
But I know that they are liars and all they want is we, in their hands, fall

They would create a problem, and suggest a solution
They would put our mind in cages and paralyze us so that we do no action

I don't know if what I am saying is nonsensical
But I know their words are lies, and promises are unachievable

They put masques that only critical thinkers see
They put masques, manipulate us with their words and make us in them spree

I know I'm no position to judge
But my citizenship pushes me to hold a grudge

They promised us peace, they promised us order
They promised us tranquility, but once we call, we get no answer

We are birds with no wings to fly
Even sometimes we want to spread them and touch the sky

They have our brains in their back pockets
Lying to our faces, and to our hearts we get bullets

They are just put there to give us the idea that we have the freedom of choice While we are being captive and deprived from our own freedom and have no voice

We are prisoners in our land
Wanting freedom, and begging anyone who would take our hand

These bars that we cannot touch are killing us
These blood suckers are depriving our lives from us

You may wonder who I am, and why I am saying these words
I am a human whose life is full bruises and wounds

Adding salt can only make it worse
While leaving it like that can only be a curse

We need bandages to heal our injuries
We need a treatment that would put us at ease

I am not against the system; I am only against its rulers
I am a person who's ready to get some answers

So enough with the drama and let's go back down to earth
So here's a story that was full of mirth

Once upon a time, there was a citizen who had everything he could dream of A house, a car, a family, and wish his buttons wouldn't get switched off

He had his rights, he did his duties
He paid his taxes and all the fees

He was happy, can't you tell?
That everything is possible if you have the will

But you cannot have it all, can't you?
Because the responsibles don't want you to

They control our lives, our behavior, and even our way of thinking They play with us like cards, and cut our wings

They are not just, they are not tolerant
We wouldn't forgive them; we wouldn't fall even if we get a bunt

Let's take our hands together, and rule together
Let's get rid of torture, and peace-makers, that we will be forever

I want to be happy, to feel proud of my country
To live in peace, and to see it prosper and bounty

Don't judge me for wanting change, for wanting things to thrive, to prosper, to rise Don't blame me for feeling strange because I'm in my own land and i still get lies

I don't need to use difficult vocabulary for you to understand me
Even if you're elite, you will get me and don't you use any plea

We are so focused on tiny stupid things
While we can do grander stuff before time flings

Tic tock, tic tock, we are running out of time
It will be too late once we hear drums, and to our ears we get the voice of chime

Let's stick together as one, and fight this evil
And turn it backwards, and "live" as angel

Learn that even if you fall once, twice or a hundred times
You're not a loser, and you don't commit any crimes

So peace-makers let's make this journey count
Let's spread love, and go higher to reach the top of the mount
