Change

All things change over time.

We can’t always control it.

Leaves go from brown to green, to red.

Dog from pup, and cat from kit.

All things change, alive and dead.

The sky is blue to pink to fire.

We all move on as the world turns.

Our bones grow old and our souls retire.

All things change - it all burns.

In the end, we leave as we came.

Changed but yet still the same.

Our hearts are different from the things we’ve learned,

And our souls enlightened, risen and returned.
