Change

They hurt you

You leave and say you're done

They come and say "Forgive"

You forgive and go back

They hurt you.

You leave and say "Never again"

They plead for forgiveness

They've changed, yes they have

But you don't...

You forgive them and go back

On and on this goes

You are Broken. Bruised.

Cut. Slashed. Beaten

and you say

You're finally done. Nothing they could do

or say can change what they've

done

But then you wonder,

what if they really have changed.
