Matthew 5:14 New English Translation (NET Bible)

14 You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill cannot be hidden.

Change

It only took a day for attitudes to change

So it goes every day in the world of feeling

Only the position had been rearranged

In the establishment of wheeling-dealing

One day there’s sunshine another day rain

What is the purpose of chasing clouds away?

One day heavy and some others much gain

Many are the curses and just a few that pray

What is light unless on the inside?

Who casts shadows in the mind?

Who shifts the sand of time for a free ride?

What is important to the blind?

One breath follows another us to teach

That rhythm develops as designed

Control of these beyond our reach

In this foggy wandering paradigm
