Change: The Beaten And The Forgotten

White rustic figure tips,
Reaching out to a beaten hand,
Those ice crystal lips,
Shivered at the sounds of foot steps,
Liquid eyes gazed upon the moving horizon,
As their own worn out feet trembled,
As they marched on the barren land,
Carrying a piece of their homeland,
Whisking in the freezing air,
Fresh tears fall from their bloody faces,
Soldiers they are,
A world with a war?
Try a world without a war,
A change that has failed,
But a change I have thrived for,
Thriving for more for a world,
In desperate need for a change.....
Heart piercing words fumbled,
Reaching out to the unwanted,
Breaking them down inside,
Quivering in the darkness,
Streams of fake smiles,
Hides the real tears,
Waving their shaken hands,
To the on looking souls,
Wanting them to offer a hand,
Being bullied and abused they are,
A world full of abuse and bullies?
Try a world free from abuse and bullies,
A change that is needed amongst us,
Amongst a world,
That is in need of change...
Growling inside the emptied bodies,
Praying for a helping hand,
Weakening day after day,
Countless cries for help,
Echoed out against the crumbling streets,
Unsafe from harm of any kind,
Putting on a smile,
As they struggled day to day,
Barely making ends meet,
Homeless, poor, and unfortunate they are,
A world filled with them?
Try a world where everyone is making ends meet with ease,
A change that is needed upon this world,
Upon a world,
That is in need of a change,
These three changes,
I would change...
