Change for Change

The days have been rough, the hours long

It is a one-sided battle, no one can win

That is not true love

Tears have been shed, I know not by you

That is not true love

Waiting for the hour you are are, I sit in relief

That is not true love

The battle is won, our hands entwined

No tears shed in sorrow, only in the joy we share

I am glad to see you, just like before the war

I know and see you

You know and see me

We change for us

I change for me and you for you

We change for change

That is true love, my dear
