Change the Channel

Each and every day is like another

Over again, her life is on replay

So much like a broken record player

It can always break her heart to pieces

And bring seas raining from her eyes

Her life, played like a TV show

That can never be canceled

All my life I want to help her

To change the channel

But, every time I try

Fate and Circumstance always steal my chance

Like a person who won't give up

They're always there, hovering midair

Guarding the control that could be her saving grace

The remote to change life's channel

But, soon it'll be over

Soon I will steal it away

And banish the idea witha single click

Her show of saddness and life is over.

It's time to change the channel.
