Change the Face of OCD

what kind of monster am I when I spend 40 minutes locking a door or tapping an outlet or washing my hands?

What do you, who can suffer from OCD because of a simple shift of a book, make me out to be?

What kind of monster am I?

You. Are. The. Fraud.

I’m not. I’m not the fraud.

Why is your OCD seasonal and stress-free?

Why does your OCD only come out on occasion?

Why do people think your OCD is cute as if it’s adorned in pretty bows and a smiling face?

Why does your OCD only ask, not tell, you to straighten a pile of papers or reorganize a shelf of books?

Why doesn’t your OCD keep you up at night?

Why doesn’t your OCD manage every aspect of your life?

Why is OCD so simple for you?

Why can’t my OCD be as easy as yours?

I’m not angry.

I’m jealous.

I’m jealous of how easy having OCD is for you.
