Change from Fear
It’s not that they were fearless,
It’s that they didn’t let fear stand in their way.
Of course they had fears, don’t we all?
That was the message of 1955;
Fear can’t stop us, if we don’t let it,
And when we overcome fear
We can change anything.
What if these heroes had lived in fear?
What would the world look like today?
The same. The same oppression.
But they put fear aside, and made a change.
Many significant changes.
So what about us?
When we hear their lesson we listen,
Let us not be fearless,
Let use our fears to create change.
