Change Just One

Religion. A polarizing thing. Many folk cant help but sing  "Jesus Changed My Life", or "Muhhomed ended my strife", "Buddha's wise teachings have engraved in me a deep understanding of morality". And sure, religion may have changed your life for the better, but how has it changed the lives of kids tortured by child molesters? If god was loving and if he was just then he wouldn't allow hate and lust. He wouldn't stop us from allowing gay rights. He would put an end to the crusader's fights.

Religion claims to be a beacon of light in a rotting world. Meanwhile nonbelievers are getting burned as their skin curls. Without religion the world would be a better place. "GOD" is holding back the human race. Stopping progress, starting crime, and this evil behaviour happens all the time. I want no gods or kings, only man. And if i could change just one thing this is my plan; remove religion, reign in an era of reason, and let humanity shine a bright light in the cold, chaotic, universe.
