Change is Juvenile

change is juvenile

by erika taylor

oceans rise,

a species dies,

and my home erupts in flame.

but it's with the Young,

all action and tongue,

through which the future prevails.

a melee of policy,

yet the Young push whole bodily,

for the change to survive.

maybe one day,

when the sky remains gray,

and acid waves break on the shore,

they will realize the Young,

with their passions sung,

were right, all along.
