Change of Life

Outside the cage built by society

Maintained by mentality of age

I was alone in friendship

as years went on

i learned to fly

fly away from the cage

the cage where everyone lived

the cage i sat outside of

all alone in society

when i learned to fly

those around me soon caught up

now my world is that of freedom

friends are scarce

but those i have make it worth it

from a lonely hatchling

i grew

grew into a soaring eagale

alone but never afraid

alone but never alone
