Change My Life...And Yours

It's a simple fact that I've accepted,

I've come to terms with myself.

I know that satisfaction will be hard to find

because my ambition drives me.

My directionless life has some direction

as I plan my future and remember my past.

Undecided majors flood my dreams

and the prospect of the future tends to frighten me.

Whatever it is that I plan to do,

I know that I want to help YOU,

and you, and you, and you.

It's a simple fact in my mind

that I can not stand to see people suffer.

Through my future career I want to end it all

and everything will be worthwhile.

Whether hunger, disease, or war

I know that helping people is my ultimate destiny.

From Africa to Ukrane, Russia to India

people are needlessly suffering.

Whatever it is that I plan to do,

I know that I want to help YOU,

and you, and you, and you.

Of course my future will require hard work.

Bachelors Degrees and Doctorates

may be in my future.

There's no way that my path will be easy

because nothing good is ever free.

Studying for finals may consume my time.

This will all be worth it for the diploma I recieve.

Achieving this is my only dream.

Whatever it is that I plan to do,

I know that I want to help YOU,

and you, and you, and you.

It is impossible for me to not face discrimination.

Ambitious women are still looked down upon.

I hope that with my ambition

I can break down the walls ahead.

There will always be people who do not want me to succeed

and I have no need for them.

Surrounding myself with those who support me

will keep me on top always.

Whatever it is that I plan to do,

I know that I want to help YOU,

and you, and you, and you.

Indicisivness is not a fault,

it is an endless expanse of opportunity ahead.
