Change is a powerful thing

Sometimes it brings us joy

And sometimes sorrow

At times we do not see it affect us

Others see the impact in our lives

If I could change just one thing

It would be that everyone could see

The true smiles that appear on faces

And the fake ones that are worn as masks

That you could see the change in hearts

And the change in minds

Because change is a powerful thing
