Change the Way We Learn

To change the way in which we learn, is what I seek most.

We file in,

We file out,

Much like our teachings.

Retention is not guraunteed, solely our attention.

Why can I ponder extraneous interests

And pass without a care,

Yet at the same time try to recall my lessons,

To realize there's nothing there.

If only we were taught by means which made us curious,

Instead of in such boredom,

Which raises us to question

Why do we do this?
