Change in the world

we are born to live, but live to die

live like you've earned it just because you're alive

as a high school senior, I've had my share of sadness

sadness, drepresssion, hurt, anger

and I thought no one could really care

others inflicted me  with feelings of anguish so why would anyone else spare

time, caring, or even lend an ear

I was wrong

many people cared, many people wanted to know or even help

bullying in my world, in my community, in my school must be stopped

I can and i will be the needed voice of change

so whenever you feel down and out, just remember

you're never alone and

THERE WILL BE CHANGE IN THE WORLD
