Frizzy hair. Freckles. Braces. Thick body.

A passion for knowledge that is not understood.

Scars from the fence you were slammed into as a child.

Gangly Body. Glasses. More Feminine than acceptable.

A passion for dance that is mocked and belittled.

Scars from the names and labels slammed into you as child.

Times were hard, but you made it through.

All the way to the other side.

Now you know what it is like to cause the pain.

You know which buttons to push.

Those were your buttons, too.

It is easy to forget how your tears felt

When you blind yourself to the tears you now cause.

Some days you can not help but see.

Those are the days to remember.

Your story does not justify your actions.

No one's past justifies a present of scarring others.

There is a power in pain.

It is a power that destroys and corrupts.

It can be stopped.

But only if you make it.
