Changes
What would I change, you ask.
Well, what could I change?
I could change myself,
I could change my friends,
I could change the planet,
Hell, I could change the universe.
This world is becoming toxic.
A place that will soon decompose under our own feet,
But does that mean it’s worth changing?
I mean this is our home,
It’s where we grew up,
It’s where our kids are going to grow up,
So should we change it at all?
We can nitpick and point out all the things that aren’t doing well,
Or we can look at this glass half-full.
We’ve done some amazing things,
We’ve lived some amazing lives,
And met some amazing people.
If I made changes would I even be here, I don’t know.
What would I change, you ask.
Nothing.
