Changes

What is this day going to bring us, mere men,

naively believing we are to eternally live on Earth

expecting it to us forever give its love,

when we are destroying it for yen.

Nature once did nurture and love her children

but when our prime we reached,

lost was our tact.

Now She may trick us and rightful's Her ct

for we, man kind, favor war to song of wren.

This would I thus change ~ our faux values,

Our preconceptions, our vanity, our cynicism

Only then would we better the world.
