changes(not the tupac song)
Why are some of the things the way they are
Why do some kids have to live till the age ten
I knew this kid named Ben
He had a disease where he was bound to a chair
That disease was pretty rare
Ben is eight years old he has already exceeded expectations of how long he will live
I just wish that he had more time to thrive
His father was so depressed
his feelings often were kept repressed
But at times, he came out in a pit of rage
Leaving Ben suffering for days
And whenever Ben went to school he was bullied
They always told him that he wouldn’t be “coolie”
Then after that day those boys except for one will go home
One of those kids were named Jerome
he didn’t live in a home
His father had to support him through selling drugs
Jerome really wanted a pug
But instead he got a home
With a better father and a mother
But Boy did he miss his old father
Ben was coming back from school
He just wanted to always be cool
He was always tired of being bound to a chair
He really thought that it wasn’t fair
All he wanted was just a friend for his birthday
Then Jerome went to his house on thursday
Jerome has apologized to Ben for bullying him
Ben finally had a partner for gym
But Ben still has a problem his dad
He just wanted to start living with his mom
So he went to court with Jerome
They finally both got a new home
Went to a better school
Where everyone thought that they were both cool
There are many things that these boys will change
Like for Ben the fact that he wasn’t coolie
Poor boy he was always bullied
And that kid Jerome
All he wanted was a better father
But instead lived with Ben’s mother
And Ben finally got a partner in crime
I hope you liked my rhymes
