Changing

Changing

Power

awesome powers

in hands which

force us to cower

while being forced into cold cold showers

just wanting peace and to smell the flowers

I don’t know bout you but I’m done with

being a coward

so you can find me with my pickaxe

plowing through

life's garbage trying

to find purpose

because as of now it feels as if

society is just another circus

with too many magicians

playing tricks on people

taking advantage of citizens ignorance

with only more allusions

sorry if I’m protruding

but in order for you to shut me up

you better start shooting

I refuse to be used by your system

setting up hopefuls

getting their hopes up

only to fail them
sorry that don’t fly with me

so I’m putting on my gloves

and now its time to start fighting

I am tired of society being so morally tiring

and there is no better timing

so I’m taking my bible and running straight into battle

with angels as my armor

words are my weapon

this pencil and keyboard are my shield

and sword

and yes I know it’s a long shot whether or not

I could make a difference

but the risk is worth the existence

of the creation of a new soul

instead of this program that i have come to be

I will no longer fall for societies

hocus pocus

which they try to force us to take into our soul and just hold it

so a new slate it is and a new soul ready for creation

It’s time for change

so I guess I’m gonna start changing.

so I guess Ima have to start the process

of rearranging

everything that I hold value to

including my own morality

in order for my soul’s immortality

to thrive

this body is just a temple buying time

                                                                         I'm just a kid writing christ’s rhymes
