Changing

i started out empty

scared lost so alone

a shriveled stranger

in my new home

strengths come with time

confidence builds with sucess

leaving my old world behind me

forgiving my past forgiving the rest

visions starting to open

no drugs in my sight

facing the world with determination

fighting with all my might

finally now i can do this

with God on my side

buckling my seatbelt

for this terrifying amazing ride
