Changing in the cards.

I slowly look around me At the faces everywhere. Not just black, but white I see. Color doesn't matter to those who care. We all have the same desire He and I, She and them, me and you. In us burns a raging fire. To see Mr. Kings dream come true. We simply can't be bear. We will press on and on. We will not accept defeat. For in out hearts we have already won. Chanting and marching down the street. We let the whole world know. Nothing could hold back out feat. As we put on our mighty show. One and all we raise out voice and heart. In a joyous song of love. Young and old both do their part. As our praise soars above. In this moment I feel. No matter if the road is hard. God will soon and surely heal. For there is a changing in the cards.

For the poetry scholarship. It is about a young man at a civil rights march.
