Changing Hearts

If I could alter some one thing,

Would it be the fear of loving?

Or perhaps the silent greeting

Of strangers on their way passing?

Maybe angry outbursts, screaming,

Violence, beating, crying?

If like the sun at dawn rising

I could change callous hearts dying,

That is what I would choose, trying.
