Changing it Up a Bit

Stressed

      Weak

          Sad

My mom

Pushing through torturous days at her job

Just to keep the lights on for me

Fatigued

     Weak

        Sad

My dad

Sick, with no heart to try

Just a shadow fading out of life

Depressed

      Drained

           Done

Is what I choose not to be

Pushing my myself to do my best every fucking day

Keeping my head up high to say "screw you fate"

I make my own path

I make my own life

I will not let this get in the way of my future

I will get my dream job

These days, though, it is getting harder

Because the dream job that everyone should have is simple:

It just has to make people Happy

And what makes me Happy is teaching

Expanding the minds of our future

Helping them to grow

To be Happy one day

Hopefully this dream will be fulfilled so I can be

Successful

         Happy

               Me
