Changing Me

How can I arrange a change

With a simple exchange at close-range

To interchange and rearrange

Who I am and still be me?

I am who I am and I can't be tamed

With all the fire and all the time still be me?

When will I realize I just don't have the time

To fill in and be the space between the sheets?

I am, I am the one they call crazy

My mind is a bit hazy that's why they call me lazy.

I can't beat I can't cheat I can't be the change you want to see.

I am who I am and I can't be contained

With all those chains they leave me drained

I am so pained it leaves me strained with all these terrible bloodstains.

I can be changed with unrestrained entertainment

My views can be abused by what it sees on the news

We lose the choice to choose when we hear the sorrows of our dues.
