Changing Mind

What makes me tick?
What makes me go?
The thing is,
I'm not sure even I know.

Life is a journey,
A constant flow.
And who you are right now
May not be who you were five minutes ago.

You see that is my mind,
It changes with me
As it takes in new information
And my eyes are presented with new things to see.

Even as I let my mind wander
And mull over what to say,
I know that I will come up with something different
Today, tomorrow, or any day.

So when you say "Speak Your Mind"
One poem simpy won't do
Because in order to keep up with my changing ideas,
I'd have to write a new one everyday until I reached 92.
