Changing Seasons

Spring showers bring an abundance of flowers,

And frogs croak fairly freely.

Warm days with sun-kissed rays and long hours,

Oh how I love spring, really.

Summer with its hot days and green trees,

Trips to the beach and going to the pool.

County fairs and sweet iced tea,

As friends and family are staying cool.

Fall, with its brightly colored leaves,

Sweaters and cider, pumpkins and more.

Cold days meant for long sleeves,

And trail rides before closing the barn door.

Winter with its white powdered snow,

There’s Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Snowball fights where you want the last throw,

And sleigh rides before the snow melts away.
