Changing Seasons
Dear Friend,
When everything falls apart,
and life is as inconsistent as the
changing
of the autumn leaves,
remember that
all that is fading,
all that is falling
is only fertilizing the soil you will one day use
to grow.
There is beauty in transformation;
vibrant colors to behold amidst
death.
When a blizzard chills your soul,
convincing you that your heart can
never again be reached,
remember that
you are being preserved,
you are being protected,
until you can once again feel warmth seeping into your skin,
melting you closer to your core than
ever before.
There is hope in the tranquility and
inconsistency of every snowflake,
resting after the fall.
When your world shifts again,
and green leaves begin to
sprout up
out of every inch of your being,
remember that
you deserve every moment,
you deserve every move forward
into this new life that has formed
where death and stillness once
triumphed.
There is joy in each and every flower your rain showers bring into creation,
each more stunning than the last.
When all that you have grown
flourishes into maturity,
the Earth’s warm beauty
radiating from where you stand,
remember
how far you have come,
how much you have created
despite all you faced which tried to convince you life would
never return.
There is peace in reaching completion,
and in the proof that life remains,
rooted deeply throughout every trial.
Just as the seasons come and go,
so will your pain.
Life persists.
Continue to grow.
Love, Yenashi
