Changing of the Times

What is one thing for which I live and die by?

What is one thing that I could not get by without?

What the world today lacks

My idea is hope without a doubt

How many gridlocked in their thoughts

Hitting walls at every turn

Looking to everyone else for answers

When it is hope that they must learn

A world that fails to hope, fails to grow

We must be introspective

A world that fails to hope, has nowhere to go

We must see the situation from every perspective

Prosperity is born out of hope

Distress is the lack there of

Whether it is the hope for a new day

Or the strength from god above

Do not remain stagnant, strive for a better tomorrow

For if we don’t hope, we will forever live in sorrow
