Changing the world

We tear this world apart piece by piece

crushing the trees, tainting the water, claiming it all as our own

we can only hope, I can only hope

we open our eyes to the destruction we cause

we open our ears to the sound of our planet begging to be cherished

I can only hope others share the same hopes
