A Changing World

My world has changed
My being has changed
My ideals have changed
It takes a lot to shake the ground  I stand on, and yet a virus did
It tore my world apart
Gave me a pre-view of how the future will be
A future of uncertainty and fear
Fear of loneliness or could it be of being alone
No matter, people have changed
To the point of getting a sneak  preview of what is ahead
Accomplishment, not for the good of the world, but for destruction of a civilization that wanted to be remembered
