Character

Let you all understand there is a mask for every face a character for every place a style for every pace what you see is what I show is it dark or does it glow for each face you want to know is it me or is it foe to try and live without hate is it my choice or is it fate to sense the evil in every trait a brand new door or an open gate I take a breath and count to eight to find a chance, a whole new slate How we live is within choice are we silent or do we have a voice to have a chance of great rejoice a reason for us to always believe without the sadness or reason to grieve our faith in others with no reason to leave a chance for us to finally breathe My true character is what I'll reveal a change in my life so unbelievably real the mistakes of the past so far from ideal I've chosen my face it’s hard to conceal it’s the right path for me is what I feel my character, my road, my gracious new deal My character is not defined by my face nor with the effort for my place when my actions become words they sore to the sky and fly like birds Without these characters what I would be a time with a chance to become me My thoughts and actions are stronger than words a break from the pact, now soaring like birds I see my road, my brand new path a life for me without the wrath a chance for me to make amends and the efforts we make that never ends
