Charade
Go ahead
Stab them; abuse them.
Mutilate them as if they had wronged you.
With-in are four ebony heads
Even if they possessed many faces
Even if they were fouled by Satan himself on the 11th.
Beneath them back when they bobbed...
After they were decapitated from the neck...
You placed a strawberry leaf and hid it under.
The truth is no matter how many times...
Even should that pale substance run crimson..
As you lift that instrument of "holy" silver
From your "pure" white cup...
Like you that leaf will cling
To the first thing it fancied.
And it will still be as green
as the day its fruit flowered.
