Charlie

If I were all alone,

On a deserted island with no home.

I would only ask for one thing.

Not a cell phone,

Not a computer,

Not even a diamond ring.

All I would want is someone love.

Someone to cuddle,

Someone to hug.

Though this someone is not what you think.

He has four paws, a tail, and a nose that is pink!

I would rather Charlie who is loving and kind,

Over a man who is controlling and blind.

Blind to the fact that he can't see,

I am a person and he cant control me.

I am empowered.

I dont need a man.

So for now I'll kick back and enjoy the sand.
