The Chase

I can live without much

I can live even live without touch

But when it comes to the idea of being with you, i cannot live without it

You treated me so horribly, yet i crawl back everytime

youre like an impossible rope, I cant help but to climb

You called me names, you made me feel small

but whenever you struggled, I was right there to catch you when you fall

You only speak to me when convenient for you

abandon me every August 25th, when college starts for you too

You became my oxygen and water

little did you know, we soon would be in college together, sharing an alma mater

I kept it from you, so you wouldnt think I was crazy

I never thought I would fall in love with the college that made my heart so dazy

I cannot live without you

You use to make me feel like I was the one

but when I slipped up once, it was truly done

I cannot live without the chase

yet I am left with a blank space
