Chase Me
You lash at me with all your will
I know your will
Trick me to put down my guard then come in for the kill
With wrathful words, the words,
That strike my heart
With a blazing anger that blurs
And vindictive, hateful slurs
That pushes us apart
You clobber and whip and scold
My very being to behold
The acrimony that brings me chills
Of your headstrong, hurtful will.
Bite me and fight me ‘til I’m still
You will always chase me still
Rip at my insides until I’m screaming shrill
Yet you’ll never cease ‘til inters
My bodily remains torn apart
A rage in me begins and spurs
And the hate you have to me transfers
So I can be the one to depart
From the lies you’ve made and sold
For now they’re over and old
And an abandonment must be fulfilled
So it shall be me, always me, still.
So with my new fire I swallow the pills
Bitter and biting and brutal pills
That weaken my mind and make me ill
My vision begins to blur
An illusion begins to start
And all my words I slur
The bitter, angry, hurt words I slur
Tongue growing taut and tart
My life begins to fold
I begin to slowly grow cold
This is what you wanted, your kill
With every color, wonderful pill.
And soon tears begin to spill
For you they begin to spill
For you’ve broken and shattered my very will
The Hellion being refers
My sin shall not make restart
To my sanctimony as spurs
Made realities begin to blur
Now pay price as I depart
And I break out of my mold
Everything I have sold
To my own soul, my lost will, I’d killed
And my sins and pain begin to spill.
I give unto thee my last farewell
And it’s true it is my last farewell
For my life, my soul I’ll put up to sell
To the Devil and all he knows
Worth the release from the pain
Burning to chase away the woes
Not a one shall sob, friend or foe
For my absence will be unknown again
So continue to fight and chase me
Soon you’ll begin to erase me
And your will to my own will quell
My very last breath for my farewell.
