Chasing Doors

My days loafing blend

into my days working.

Closed doors creak open

softer than I can hear.

Unless I am alert, I can just make out a door swooshing open.

And into the swoosh I run

swiftly before it closes.

Maybe that's part of the fun.

I find just enough doses

to keep my senses perked.

Just enough succesful entrances

to make each trip a mind's treasure.
