Chasing the Truth
Chasing the truth
Each day I live, and I laugh, and I cry;
I live when I say and do what is true,
I laugh ev’ry time my friends and I sigh
At the mem’ry of great times that are through,
I cry for the men and women who prove
The world’s a sinful and unhappy place
Where monsters reign and mocking men move
Those who would rather believe in false praise
Than accept the fact that all men must fall,
All men must suffer, and all men must die.
The women do not escape this sad call
Because we all will end with a sad sigh.
Why, Why not know what’s what? Let’s live!
With a smile and an honest “I forgive”.
