Cheating from Another Perspective

Cheater,

The emphasis on the growing curve illustrated by your lips

Or the quick reaction your body had when it pinned me down within the second

I only wish I could foresee the tricks you hid and used to get inside me

Not literal, maybe physical, without a doubt it was mental

A promising horizon

Quaint melodics of feathered angels chirping warmness

A stray breeze embracing our face with mother nature's kisses

A waterfall, above it all, wasn't enough to see the drought

The glowing cosmos shining overhead

Like the racing headlights we somehow managed to dodge

It was a miracle

you were my miracle

I was another substance you used to pass the time

by

But what materialistic item could ever be enough to measure your time?

Between smokes and drinks you were never easy to find

They call it rape

I call it fate

But still I crave your deluded presence that slips between your own reality and mine

Rhythmic vibrations pulsing in our veins

Snow powder and dopamine flushing through your brain

My blood and tears

sweep past your oblivion

You two timed her with me, and I would never see you again

Yours Truly,

A Girl You Once Embraced
