Checklist
Large breasts
That’s a requirement
Less than a C cup
Can’t be accepted
Plump lips
Like Kylie Jenner
And in her words “trend matters”
Unless you follow trend, you don’t matter
You’re useless
Conform to society or face the consequences
Fair skin, no acne
High cheekbones and all she’s lacking
Is everything a girl needs to be beautiful
To be worthy
Nice tan, no flaws
Long legs
That must spread if a man asks
Asks, more like demands
Ruined at society’s hands
To satisfy a man is all she lives for
And if she does not appear at his immediate need
On her knees then she
Is worth nothing more
Than his pity sex
Her words meaningless
NO STOP PLEASE
Crying at sliding off of her dress
JUST SHUT UP AND GET ON YOUR KNEES
Laughing at the gentle caress
Of her useless pleas
Seen as dolls on a shelf
Just eye candy to choose from
Without feeling, without emotion
Not that anyone would know, not that anyone would care
As we look upon them with eyes the size of saucers
And the screaming and the commotion over which man gets the privilege
Of entering her
Despite her wishes
Thick thighs
You don’t have the gap
Then you’d better have nice eyes
And in her room, she cries
Because she never live up to society and its size
Requirements she can never fit
To even be considered beautiful
A checklist must be filled
Girls must have curves like an hourglass
And flat toned stomachs
If they wants to pass
The test
To satisfy the masses
They must have nice toned asses
Because they are nothing more than a toy made to pleasure
Slabs of meat to be tossed around
Therefore, they cannot live up to the measure
Of the potential of their minds
Their brilliant minds
Minds of all kinds
But that doesn’t matter
Because they are just the gravy for a man to slather
Onto his success
Because only a man can have intelligence
If she is intelligent: she is stuck up
If she says no, then she is rude
If she is proud of her body and without makeup
Choosing to stay a virgin wearing long clothes to cover up
Her body, then she is a prude
A woman’s body is her temple
As she is the goddess who controls it
Because she has a voice
Like Athena, she is powerful
And she has the choice of
Who enters
What enters
Who leaves and who it pleases
Where it goes and what it does
Because
A woman is not just a decoration for prom
And this is not build a bitch .com
No, this is a world where all should be free to express
And to do so without the fear of being oppressed
So we do so through poetry
Allowing our thoughts to fly free
Like birds
Using our minds to create something beautiful with words
Only for it to be destroyed
But words will never die and like the phoenix, they will rise
From the ashes, from the void
To fight for a world where we can live better lives
