Checkmate

Where am I?

Who am I?

What is my purpose?

These questions play like a song repeating in my mind

I sit in class thinking of my pupose

What am I here to do?

Am I even here to do anything?

Who knows,

I sure don't

No matter how much thinkin I do

Honestly I don't think I ever will

Life is not made so that you know everything to happen and how it happens

Life is like a chess game

Each move is made without knowing what life it going to throw your way

We all play this game of chess never really knowing when your gonna lose

All I hope is that I play a joyful and fulfilling game

Before checkmate
