Cheek

Grabbin at straws

And looking to fall

Into the dark

Not getting the call

To move myself forward

And i'm starting to lack behind

I'm getting lost in myself

And i'm not pushing my mind

I'm not opening up

I'm just ending abrupt

To the future that i have

The potential i hold up

And only settling for what I have now

And i'm not looking forward

And i'm going to give up now

I'm just gonna sit back and roll with the punches

Instead of pursuing my dreams

For wealth in abundance

And i'm going to crash on the couch of my parents house

And live with them everyday until I get passed 48

I'm not going far and i'm not moving quick

I'm only staying back

And let my parents do all the shit

With me i'm just layin low

And i'm not gonna move

But only move with the flow

I'm not makin money

I have a steady job

Where i go in everyday

And get cussed by angry moms

And i go and fall asleep

In the bed that i cry

And i lift my head from my pillow

And i think about.my life

And i wonder how I got to this place that i'm at

Where i only eat potato chips

And i sit on the couch being fat

Being someone no one really wants

That's why my mom told me to move out in a month

At 40 years old i'm homeless on the street

And struggling to get water or a bite to eat

I'm layin in the overpass

And i'm chillin on the street

And laying on the concrete

I could kill for some sheets

And now i'm down in the dumps

And i dead in me

So i go late at night

And i stand in the street

But then i wait on the side

And i wait for a car

I could see the lights ahead

They aren't very far

So i wait till they get closer

And when they come up the hill

I do what i have to

I do complete my will

Im jump in front of the car

And it doesn't stop for me

I hit the front and i fall

And i'm glad it did speed

So now I can just die

In the middle of the street

And i'm lyin on the ground

Blood drippin from my cheek

And a smile on my face

And light is in my eyes

And the stretcher is getting close

And the body lifted by guys

And the rushin they are doing

And the dyin i am doing

And the smile slowly fades

When they saved my life in days

And now i'm layin in a bed

And the doctor comes in

And the doctor tells me some things

And the tears start to flood then

The doctor hands me a paper

And whatcha know it's a bill

And the doctor walks out

And i knew he just killed

Every little bit of me

That i had left

So i got up

Walked out

And on the street i left

I went farther and farther

And i kept on walkin

And nobody even tried

So i walked not talkin

I kept on walking until i was no more

That's why when it rains where i left

It pours

I left and never came back

Nobody could catch a trace

Nobody could find the body

Nobody could see my face

Because now i'm gone

And i'm in everybody

And i suck off of you

And i leave myself there

And i end up killin u

So now here's my mark

Deep in the dark

And harnessing everything

That i left in that park

And left on that swing

Was my final legacy

And now i'm gone

Just like autumn wind

Icy

Cold to the touch

And never did much

I'm like a lifeless corpse

And i lay there crushed under all the pressure

From others to succeed

I wish they only knew

How much I bleed from my cheek
