Cheerful Little House

I walk to my cheerful little house The world is too frightening Everywhere I look something bad's happening New meds gives me mood swings and snaps I can't handle the overwhelming emotions Causing much too many commotions My little cheerful house is medal While the other wooden houses burn With its pastel colors, it holds dark lonliness With its hot cocoa it holds cold insecurities With its soft stuffed animals it holds hard secrets I walk to my cheerful little house
