My heart is weary.
My soul's waxed dull.
My mind is drowning
In conscience full.

I need revival.
My bones do quake.
Oh, in Thy presence
Just let them brake!

What beckons heartache?
Who birthed this pain?
What vessel broke open
And caused this stain?

I need revival.
My blood's run thin.
But at Thy voice
I'd rise again!

Oh Bread of Life,
I feast on stones.
Oh Living Water,
I drink from bones.

My praying heart
Prays hard for life.
Only spill Thy Spirit
On my desert strife.

"God is my motivation. He coaxed my bones into order, arranged my head of hair, designed by thought-processes into a delightful maze. He surrounds my life - like adorning a bare tree - with smiling souls." - ACS
